Tutoring at the Hume Writing Center

Writing Center Appointments:

• Individual consultations
• 30 or 60 minute sessions, depending on the length of the project
• 120 minutes allowed per student per week
• Read Appointment and Tutoring Policies before scheduling appointments
• Schedule an appointment online
• Appointments must be cancelled online by 6:00 the day before

Drop-in Tutoring

• In the Writing Center and around campus
• As needed: no limits to number of sessions
• Flexible times
• Check the current drop-in schedule

Peer Writing Tutors

Peer tutors are undergraduates or graduate students who have been trained to help students at any stage of the writing process and can work with you on any piece of writing, from an IHUM or PWR essay to a grant proposal or cover letter.
